Facilitating Brainstorming & Pitch Work

I’ve been working in the automotive vertical for several years, so it make senses that I’d get pulled in for pitch work in that space. I helped drive the creative work for a proposal for both the Porsche Experience Centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles and Porsche Financial Services. I organized brainstorming sessions so we could generate a variety of assets for different channels. Our output included a brochure, social media posts, and a CRM newsletter, as well as suggested website navigation and page updates. So, a whole lot of assets in different formats in a very short time.

Here’s the FigmaJam board I organized to lead us through some initial brainstorming for both sets of deliverables.

Another UX designer and I shared the UX work. While she worked on some suggested site updates, I worked on the layout for a CRM newsletter, ideas for social media posts, and a brochure explaining Porsche’s financing options. We even developed mini user journeys for different potential customer paths to generate ideas for potential needs at different points in the sales funnel.

One of a few sample mini user journeys we generated to spin up ideas for potential assets related to the client’s requests. These were developed quickly to guide our internal discussion and brainstorming.

Designing Both Digital & Print Artifacts

Sample newsletter wireframe

I designed this wireframe to show the potential content hierarchy and copy for a CRM newsletter intended to educate potential customers about the Porsche Experience Centers, specifically how they can be used for group events.

That meant informing this largely B2B audience about the centers experiential opportunities, such as the track and the simulators, as well as catering and facilities opportunities.

The newsletter would include multiple contextual calls to action (CTAs) throughout to drive interested parties to specific detailed content on the Porsche Experience Center sites.

I also wrote the placeholder copy for the newsletter.

I also designed a brochure for Porsche Financial Services, which could be handed out at Porsche Dealerships. This brochure would explain the advantages of leasing versus financing at a high level and point customers to the finance section of the Porsche website for more detailed information via a QR code. The brochure also highlighted the ability to complete a credit application online and presented Porsche’s insurance products as a potential next step for consideration.

I designed a second version of this brochure to highlight additional financing products.
